Privacy policy

This notice explains how Acebet Decide uses information at acebetdecide.com. It covers game discovery, sign-in, favorites, and community rankings. For privacy questions, contact supportdecide@gmail.com.

Accounts and Google sign-in

Clerk handles account registration, email verification, passwords, and sign-in sessions. Signing in with Google provides Clerk with your Google account identifier, email address, verification status, and basic profile information such as your name and profile image. We use this information to identify your account, secure access, and restore your favorites across devices.

The Google connection requests only identity, email, and basic profile access. It does not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts, Drive files, or calendar. Passwords are handled by Clerk; the website's favorites database does not store passwords.

Favorites and community rankings

Our database stores your account identifier, favorited game identifiers, and the time each favorite was saved. Up to ten favorites can be saved per account. Public community rankings show totals for games, without displaying which accounts selected them.

Completed rolls send the chosen game identifiers, a random event identifier, and a timestamp so the site can update its Most picked leaderboard and avoid counting retries twice. These roll records are not linked to your account in the draw database.

Storage on your device

The site uses browser storage for provider choices, theme and picker settings, recent discoveries, cached counts, and changes waiting to synchronize after a connection interruption. Clerk also uses session cookies and related browser storage to keep you signed in. Clearing site data removes locally stored preferences and pending changes; it does not remove favorites already saved to your account.

Services that process information

Cloudflare hosts the website and its database. Clerk provides authentication. These services receive technical information needed to deliver and secure requests, such as IP addresses, browser details, and session identifiers. The site uses IP-based rate limits to reduce abuse. Google receives requests when you use Google sign-in and when your browser loads Google Fonts.

Account information is used for sign-in, security, support, and account features. We do not sell Google account data or use it for personalized advertising. Google user data is shared with the providers needed to operate these features, or when required by law.

Provider information: Clerk, Cloudflare, and Google. Service-provider processing may take place outside your country.

Retention and your choices

Saved favorites remain until you remove them or request deletion. There is currently no automatic expiration for favorite records or draw records. Removing a heart or star while signed in removes that favorite after the change synchronizes. Aggregate draw totals can remain after you stop using the site.

You can manage account details through Your account and revoke Google access in your Google account settings. To request access to or deletion of information held by Acebet Decide, email supportdecide@gmail.com from your account email. We may need to verify your identity. Deleting a Clerk account does not automatically erase the separate favorites database; include a favorites deletion request when contacting us.

External websites and changes

Game links open third-party websites with their own privacy practices. This policy covers Acebet Decide. Updates to this notice will be posted here with a revised date.
